Upholstery piqued my curiosity from a young age. Growing up on the Isle of Skye, I watched my mother restore the wood of people’s unwanted furniture. The memories stayed, and as an adult, I noticed the lack of good upholstery services and decided to learn the craft myself. In 2012, I studied at a Scottish AMU training center for two years and passed my training with distinction.

Since starting the Inverness based business, one of the best things about upholstery is restoring a chair with so many happy family memories and making it new so that it can be used and loved by the next generation.

While getting a ‘like’ or a ‘heart’ online is great, the real happiness is the ‘wow’ moment when we deliver a chair back to someone. It is this personal connection we cherish the most.
